As part of OnPoint EV Solutions’ new partnership with Uptime Charger, a national EV Charging EPC and Management company from Michigan, Influent Energy, a leading Solar energy company from Kansas City, and Argent Associates, JV Partner and Network and Digital Kiosk company from Plano, TX. OnPoint will initially deploy 4-180kW public direct-current fast-chargers (DCFC) connectors across these 9 Jacksons Store sites.

“Adding EV Charging to Jacksons stores gives even more drivers access to best-in-class services like fresh food, beverages, groceries, clean restrooms and, of course, the very good chance they’ll be offered a free banana,” said Cory Jackson, Jacksons Food Stores President. “Electric Vehicle owners embrace innovation, making them a great fit with the Jacksons brand and all its offerings. Let’s go!”

Rolly Woolsey, co-founder of OnPoint EV Solutions added, “by delivering Fast Speed Wi-Fi connectivity at these Jacksons stores and OnPoint’s EV Chargers tied to the OnPoint EV App, which can be downloaded from either the Apple or Google Stores, we are looking to improve the entire EV Charging Experience. In the near future, EV customers will be able to reserve a charging session and link to the Jacksons store app to preorder services and get curb-side delivery.”

In addition to the installation of EV Charging stations at selected Jacksons Stores, OnPoint EV, in
collaboration with our Joint Venture partner, Argent Associates, will be testing the new UX Edge™ interactive digital kiosk to further enhance the EV Charging Experience. “The UX Edge kiosks provide engaging entertainment and informative content while vehicles are charging, including directions, nearby points of interest and Jacksons Store point-of-sale promotions,” stated Betty Manetta, CEO of Argent Associates.

“The partnership between OnPoint EV Solutions, Uptime Charger, and Argent is another step closer to making the energy transition more achievable. As demand grows, this is an exciting time for EVs, and collaborations like this will ensure success. Uptime Charger is proud to support OnPoint EV’s commitment to lowering the barriers consumers may face with EVs and charging stations,” says Bill Policastro, Founder of Uptime Charger.

OnPoint EV Solutions charging stations, manufactured in the USA by BTC Power, will provide up to 360kW for a single car, with a minimum of 180kW charge when both dispensers are in use. Electric Vehicles will be able to recharge their cars in 20-30 minutes from 20% to 80% capacity depending on their charge acceptance rates. The initial 4 charging dispensers at each site will be deployed with CCSI connectors, with NACS connectors for Tesla vehicles to follow. The charging stations will be covered by a Solar Canopy, with bright LED lighting, security cameras and high-speed managed Wi-Fi. All charging stations will accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Charging Stations will be available 24 hours a day, every day and be competitively priced with a guaranteed uptime.

The nine Jacksons OnPoint EV Charging sites are targeted to come online by summer 2025. We anticipate many more sites to follow in late 2025 and into 2026.
