Getting Started with the OnPoint EV App
Here’s how to download the app, start a charging session, and get back on the road.
1. Download the App and Create an Account
Download the OnPoint EV app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Open the app and either log in or create a new account.
2. Find a Station and Start Charging
In the app, search for stations by location, station ID, availability, or power level. Once you’re at the station:
- Scan the QR code on the charger, or
- Enter the station ID manually in the app
Plug the connector into your vehicle and follow the prompts to start the session. You can pay through the app, at the station’s card reader, or with an RFID card if you have one.
While your vehicle charges, you’re free to grab food, run a quick errand, or take a short break.
3. End Your Session and Go
You’ll receive an in-app notification or email when charging is complete (if you’ve enabled notifications).
If you need to leave earlier:
- Return to the charger
- Stop the session on the screen or in the app
- Unplug the connector and return it to the holster
